James is leaving Cairo in just a few short hours...His friends in Cairo are having a farewell party for him and seeing him off to the airport as I write this. I want to thank everyone who has made his stay so welcoming. He has made many friendships that I hope will last many years. I know his departure is bittersweet. I hope that someday we can meet and please know that our door is always open to James friends. To our friends in the states, we are hosting an open house Sunday August 10th from 3 until 7. All are welcome to drop by and give James a welcoming hug and hear of his adventures. Please bring a dish to share (a bag of pretzels is fine if you're a none cook)! James has promised to make something Egyptian! Spread the word and call or email (jknable797@aol.com) if you need directions! No excuses, Lets have a party! Love to all, Tracy Mother of the wanderer
James arived home late last night and is sleeping after getting no rest for 48 hours. Kelsey managed to revitalized him for a while but eventually he had to sleep! As usual he has a busy and full schedule planned and will be on the go again later today! Your next chance to see him will be at the Sporting Clays Scholarship Shoot to benefit Saint James School (www.stjames.edu), Saturday 8/9 and at our open house on Sunday 8/10 from 3-7 p.m. James is looking forward to seeing everyone.
@ Mahommed: I will remind James always of his friends and life in Egypt. I know he will return (he broke his shisha)!
